Nkoyo-Ene Effiong is the Founder and Principal Attorney at The Effiong Firm LLC, a boutique law firm in Metro Atlanta. The firm focuses on providing personalized and effective representation to individuals and entities in the areas of social enterprise, business and nonprofit law, education law, and general civil litigation. As a social entrepreneur, Attorney Effiong understands the unique challenges and risks social enterprise leaders and organizations face as they pursue social impact and profit. Accordingly, she partners with clients to devise the most appropriate strategy and structure to minimize legal exposure and maximize change-making opportunities. As a former educator, she works tirelessly for parents, guardians and community groups committed to ensuring adequate educational outcomes for all students.
Attorney Effiong began her legal career as an associate at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan LLP and later went on to represent Metro Atlanta school districts with Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough LLP. She is a proud graduate of Brown University earning an A.B. in American Civilization and New York University School of Law where she received her J.D.
